Why concrete is a firm no

Concrete, asphalt, brick, dirt, sand and gravel are prohibited in every container, and it is not an arbitrary rule. Inert material is enormously heavy for its volume, and a container that looks a third full can already be past what the truck can safely lift.

If your project produces concrete or fill, it needs a dedicated inert hauler rather than a mixed-waste container. Say so when you call and we will tell you straight rather than delivering a box you cannot use.

Why we quote instead of posting a price

Dumpster rental has no single flat number. Four things move it, and two of them depend on your address and your project.

Tell us what you're working on and we'll give you the real figure, with delivery, pickup and disposal already in it.

1
Container size

A 10 yard costs less than a 20. Picking the right size is usually the biggest single lever on your total.

2
How long you keep it

3 day and 7 day options are priced differently.

3
Where it's going

Your delivery address inside the 50 mile service radius affects the quote.

4
What's in it

Each size includes a set weight. Go past it and the extra weight is billed on top.

Materials questions

Before you book

Can I put concrete in a dumpster in Jackson?

No. Concrete, asphalt, brick, dirt, sand and gravel are prohibited in every container we run. Inert material is too heavy for a mixed-waste container and needs a dedicated hauler.

Can I throw away a mattress or a couch?

Yes. Furniture including mattresses, couches, chairs, tables and dressers is accepted.

What do I do with paint, oil and old propane tanks?

Those stay out. Wet paint of any type, motor and hydraulic oils, fuels and propane tanks even when empty are all prohibited. Jackson County runs household hazardous waste collection for exactly these items.

What happens if something prohibited ends up in the load?

Tell us before pickup and we will work it out. Found at the scale it becomes a sorting charge, which is why we would rather have the conversation up front. If you are unsure about an item, ask before it goes in.
