What Can You Put in a Dumpster in Jackson, MI?

- × Hazardous, toxic or unknown. Chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, asbestos.
- × Liquids, oils, fuels and flammables. Wet paint of any kind, motor and hydraulic oil, gas, diesel, propane.
- × Weapons and explosive risk. Propane tanks even when empty, fluorescent bulbs.
- × Electronics and batteries. Batteries of any type, and electronics down to keyboards and mice.
- × Tires. Any size, any quantity.
Why concrete is a firm no
Concrete, asphalt, brick, dirt, sand and gravel are prohibited in every container, and it is not an arbitrary rule. Inert material is enormously heavy for its volume, and a container that looks a third full can already be past what the truck can safely lift.
If your project produces concrete or fill, it needs a dedicated inert hauler rather than a mixed-waste container. Say so when you call and we will tell you straight rather than delivering a box you cannot use.
